Dome's published solar offering gives Dubai commercial owners a concrete starting point for an enquiry: rooftop and car-park projects, engineering and construction services, and ongoing operation and maintenance. The buying decision is whether the proposed delivery team and contract fit your building, not whether a portfolio headline sounds impressive.
This Dome Solar Dubai review is a desk-researched company profile for property owners and authorised procurement teams. We checked public company material and DEWA's currently linked contractor list on 28 October 2026. It is not a customer testimonial, site inspection, rating or first-hand assessment of workmanship.
Which Dome company should be on your proposal?
Dome Group's renewables page identifies Dome Advanced Electromechanical Works LLC (DAEW) as the business behind the offering. Its Dubai contact page also names that company alongside other group entities. The distinction matters: a group name is not, by itself, the legal party accepting your installation and warranty obligations.
The document currently supplied through DEWA's enrolled solar contractors and consultants page lists DOME ADVANCED ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS in the contractor section, with www.domeint.com as its website. That is the literal list entry; request the full licensed contracting name and confirmation of present enrolment before appointment.
The list is internally dated 18 July 2025, while the landing page displays 31 July 2025. Our October check establishes what DEWA currently links, not a newly issued 2026 certificate. Enrolment is not DEWA endorsement, a price recommendation or a guarantee of workmanship, installation quality or service outcomes.
What solar services does Dome advertise?
The company's Renewables & Energy Solutions page advertises engineering, procurement and construction of rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants, PV design and development, consulting and project development, on-grid, off-grid and hybrid plants, and operation and maintenance. It describes commercial, industrial, educational and governmental customers.
Read those as company-published capabilities, not an agreed scope or permission for your site. An advertised ground-mounted or hybrid service does not establish that a particular configuration is permissible for your Dubai connection. Likewise, the page's broad authority-approval wording is not a substitute for the actual building, property and utility approvals your proposal needs.
The same page advertises HVAC energy-efficiency solutions. If your enquiry includes both solar and cooling improvements, ask for separate measures, costs and savings assumptions. Do not let one combined savings percentage conceal how much comes from PV and how much depends on changes to the building's operation.
Three references to discuss, not savings to borrow
Dome's solar service page publishes the following examples. The capacities, installation types and commissioning dates below are the company's historical descriptions, not independently audited current output or customer-satisfaction findings.
Dubai World Trade Centre: a 1,950 kWp rooftop installation, with commissioning stated as Q1 2020. For an owner with multiple halls or operational zones, ask which roofs and electrical accounts the reference covers, Dome's precise contractual role, and whether a comparable current client can discuss aftercare.
Retail Hypermarket, International City: an 892 kWp roof-top/car-park installation, with commissioning stated as Q3 2021. This is a useful reference for discussing the boundary between an existing roof package and a parking-canopy package. Do not infer the customer's identity from a photograph or filename.
Aquila School: a 115 kWp rooftop installation, with commissioning stated as Q1 2023. An education operator should ask how a proposed programme handles occupied areas, access and the campus calendar, rather than assuming the same delivery constraints as an industrial roof.
The page also publishes estimated generation over 25 years. Those forecasts are not evidence of energy already generated, an operating guarantee, or your future bill reduction. Ask for a recent comparable reference and a model based on your own electricity data. Historical project capacities do not establish today's permitted capacity for a new project.
For a school enquiry, our guide to school-holiday demand and solar credit timing helps frame the consumption question. For a warehouse, use the commercial roof pre-quote feasibility checks before requesting a final layout.
Turn the published offering into a comparable scope
Use this schedule in your enquiry to Dome and competing bidders. These are recommended procurement questions, not claims about what Dome includes or excludes in a standard contract.
Possible package | Ask the bidder to define | Keep visible in the comparison |
|---|---|---|
Rooftop solar on an operating building | Survey basis, roof and electrical interfaces, access arrangements, works sequencing and any shutdowns. | PV price, building remedial work, retained owner costs and operating restrictions as separate items. |
Roof plus parking-canopy solar | Canopy design and foundations, drainage, retained bays and circulation, and the cable route to the connection point. | Separate roof-only and combined options, including civil work and service access, not just extra panel capacity. |
Solar plus HVAC improvements | Each efficiency measure, PV generation, baseline consumption and the method for avoiding double-counted savings. | Separate capital costs, measured or modelled benefits, operating assumptions and acceptance evidence. |
Construction followed by maintenance | The commissioning handoff, maintenance provider, monitoring ownership, response obligations and warranty responsibilities. | Included service period, renewal basis, call-outs, parts, labour and exclusions. |
A larger package is not automatically better value. Compare the same feasible site layout and operating assumptions, then add any canopy or efficiency measures as explicit options. Our solar quotation line-item checklist provides the general equipment and commercial comparison; the table above addresses the particular mix of services Dome advertises.
Six questions for a Dome solar enquiry
Who is contracting and who is delivering? Ask for the full licensed entity, current applicable DEWA enrolment, named design and site leads, and any separately contracted maintenance or financing party. Match these to the proposal rather than relying on a group logo.
Which reference matches our property? Specify warehouse, retail, school or another building type, roof construction, occupied hours and rooftop versus canopy scope. Ask what Dome delivered on the reference and request a permitted customer conversation. A portfolio entry alone does not answer those questions.
What is surveyed and what remains provisional? Request the roof-condition and structural assessment scope, electrical survey, permissions schedule and an itemised exclusions list. Ask who prices and approves additional work if a survey changes the design.
How are solar and other savings separated? Request annual PV generation assumptions, the bill-benefit model and any independent HVAC baseline. If an output guarantee is offered, define its meter boundary, adjustments, exclusions and remedy using a clear solar performance-guarantee schedule.
What happens after commissioning? Dome advertises O&M, but obtain the actual inspection, cleaning, monitoring, fault response, warranty-labour and renewal terms for your project. Identify who the owner calls when a problem spans the PV system and existing building equipment.
What are we buying and when do we pay? Request total installed cost, taxes, payment milestones, acceptance evidence and retained costs. Ask whether any financed arrangement is actually offered for this site and who its counterparty would be; do not infer a PPA, rate or eligibility from an EPC service description.
A first brief that moves the decision forward
We are assessing solar for a [building type] in [Dubai location], as the [owner/authorised occupier]. Please use our electricity bills, operating hours, roof drawings and known condition to propose a survey and feasible layout. State the licensed contracting entity, relevant enrolment, approval responsibilities, construction and O&M scope, assumptions, exclusions and acceptance milestones. Price roof-only solar separately from any parking canopy or HVAC measure, and provide a comparable recent project reference.
Share account and property documents privately through an appropriate enquiry channel. There is no standard installation price, finance product, payback period or workmanship verdict established by this review.
Decision takeaway: Dome's public material supports a commercially relevant enquiry with named rooftop, mixed roof/car-park and school references. Appointment should depend on a surveyed proposal, the correct contracting entity and a clear separation of construction, other energy measures and ongoing service, not a portfolio total or a borrowed savings forecast.
You can approach the company directly through Dome's official contact page. If you would like to compare options, request multiple commercial solar quotes with one SolarQuote submission, subject to project suitability and installer availability. Include the location, building use, ownership or authority, electricity bills and any canopy or efficiency requirement. SolarQuote is a comparison and installer-matching platform, not the installer or DEWA; this profile does not imply Dome participates in SolarQuote or promise a quote from Dome through the platform.
